My experience with this team was smooth and painless from the beginning. I was able to get an estimate appointment for exterior painting fairly quickly, and James arrived on time and gave me a sense of confidence with the company. Unlike other estimators who simply looked around the property and then tell me to look out for the estimate via email, James took some time to present the company's credentials and explain what the process would be like. He presented references and documents showing they were up to date on their workers comp insurance, and photos of the work in progress to demonstrate the process. It's old school, but I do appreciate it.
Thank you for sharing these tips, Josh! My boyfriend and I are about to embark on a major re-design of our condo and I am not looking forward to all the painting prep work. It does make a huge difference if you do it right though! Stacia February 25, 2015 .
Residential painters charge $0.50 to $6.00 per square foot, while new construction or commercial painting rates average $2 to $5 per square foot. Estimates include two coats of paint applied to interior walls. Damp weather slows drying time, while difficult surfaces and detailed projects increase overall costs.
There’s no need to worry about the preparation either. Our friendly, uniformed painters will take care of covering larger items, taping around edges and window sills, and even be conducting minor repairs (dings in drywall or fresh caulking around windows) to get your interior spaces ready for painting. We’ll identify any items you can remove in advance during the walkthrough.
There are some other wall paintings within the Abbey or its precincts which cannot normally be seen by the public. The white hart badge of Richard II is painted on a partition in the Muniment Room. Some rare mid to late 16th century black and white arabesque paintings and a painting on plaster from the reign of Elizabeth I are in private offices.
Painting a townhouse costs $1,000 to $4,300 on average, depending on the size, siding type, and the number of stories. Painting a townhouse only includes the front and back walls because most townhomes share one or both sidewalls with neighboring units.

Hello, I'm looking for a referral for a quality and affordable painter or painting company to pain the exterior of my house in Westminster. Does anyone have any recommendations? I will also need to have some of the rotted window trim boards replaced as well and the entire house caulked prior to painting. I know that it usually included with most reputable painters. Prep work for old homes can be especially difficult. Poor prep work on an exterior will mean needing to re-paint sooner (sometimes literally within 1-2 years), which will cost far more time and money than doing it correctly in the first place. In fact, a good professional paint company may use more than half of the entire project time preparing a surface to paint. Trust the process; this time could be difference in hundreds of hours and dollars.
Mayco recently did an interior paint job of our home and did an excellent job! They arrived on time every morning and left the place clean at the end of...
"Father son, Leonardo and Michelangelo as I would like to call them (Rick & Richard in fact). Did the interior trim of myn1,600 unit, master bathroom some ceilings and loads of touch up in all rooms. Professional, no mess, great advice on what made sense, timely and efficient. They took 2 days to do a job that I though would take longer - done really well and done to the budget. I would recommend them and will be using them again for another paint job I have coming up." Westminster House Painting CO
