We are all too familiar with how cold our winters here can be, so cold in fact that paint can freeze before it sets. When that happens, it can turn into a blob that slides right off! Because of the seasonal window to offer exterior home painting services, some New Westminster painting companies simply don’t offer it at all.

James and his crew did a phenomenal job painting the exterior of our home. They were meticulously detailed and were a joy to work with. Looking forward to working with them again!
We are in the process of painting our entire house. It’s not huge by any means but we do have very high ceilings in our living room/kitchen which has created an extra issue. YES TO SPENDING PLENTY OF TIME DOING PREP WORK. It’s amazing long it takes to get everything ready to even crack open a paint can. It does make a world of difference though. Jenn February 25, 2015
The primary difference between the cost of interior paints ($10 to $70 per gallon) and exterior paints ($15 to $80 per gallon) is the resin. The resins used in exterior paints are softer, making them resistant to flaking, chipping, and sun damage. The interior paint uses a more rigid resin that resists marking and staining. Many exterior paints use a resin that causes outgassing, an emission of volatile organic compounds. Common to many manufactured products, it is what causes that “new car smell.” The outgassing from exterior paint resins continues for many years, even after the odor dissipates. It is a major reason professionals don't use or allow homeowners to use exterior paints indoors.

Is the painter amenable to accommodating your time schedule? You’re the exception if you haven’t heard horrific tales of painters showing up days late, breezing past deadlines and taking so many jobs at the same time, workers are harried, unpredictable and unreliable. Those reference calls could offer accountability assurances of painters you favor. Westminster House Painting CO
